Hello and WELCOME to the 2026 Chippens Tournament Challenge. It's shaping up to be another excellent year here at the Challenge, with a hearty mix of newcomers and veterans, as always.
An interesting wrinkle this year: With the Chippens Unpaid Interns all busy crocheting parachute doilies for their ChatGPT inspired business venture, apparently completing the "Smack Talk" field in the bracket entry form was required this year! This was totally unintentional, but a happy unintended consequence nonetheless!
We encourage all players to scope out your competitors this year and see what they have to say. Spoiler Alert: Joe Leno is back, and he's still enthralled with the ball aspect of the sport.
As to who they picked, over half the field picked either Duke (36 players) or Michigan (35 players). If those teams fall in an upset, that leaves an opening for the players who picked Arizona, Florida, and ... BYU? Good luck to TheTruth with that pick. Not even Mormon Pope has BYU past the first round!
